From there, you can head over from Port Chester or Harrison, NY today and we'll get you started on a quick test drive in the new Hyundai Tucson edition that has all the features you want and need.
Hyundai Tucson SE
The base level of the Tucson is a great choice for value-minded drivers from Stamford or Port Chester. While relatively sparse with features compared to what's found in higher levels, the Tucson SE starts you off nicely with an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and a set of driver aids that includes:
- Forward collision mitigation
- Lane keeping assist
- Adaptive cruise control
- Rear seat reminders
- Driver attention warning
Hyundai Tucson SEL
This is the trim we'll recommend for most Tucson shoppers here in Stamford. On top of the base features, you'll add keyless entry and ignition, roof rails, heated front seats and improved climate controls throughout, a wireless mobile device charging pad, extra USB ports for rear-seat passengers and a couple added safety features. Those are blind-spot warning and intervention with rear cross-traffic warning, giving you a comprehensive set of safety tech in your new Hyundai Tucson.
The SEL trim also offers a couple option packages. The Convenience package adds larger wheels, a hands-free liftgate, tech, climate control, and amenity upgrades, synthetic leather upholstery and real leather wrapping on the steering wheel and gear shifter. The Premium package adorns all of the Tucson seats with leather and adds ventilated front seats, a premium sound system, and more.
Hyundai Tucson XRT
A relatively newcomer to the Tucson trim level lineup, the XRT is an off-road themed edition of this small SUV. It includes the Convenience package features except for the sunroof, as well as special wheels, unique bumpers, black exterior accents, side steps, roof rails, a tow hitch, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration being wired and an in-car navigation system.
Hyundai Tucson N Line
The sporty N Line edition loses some of the XRT's cosmetic options and replaced those with its own unique stylistic touches inside and out. This trim also includes a hands-free liftgate, sunroof, and more collected from the SEL's option packages and the XRT's tech upgrades.
Hyundai Tucson Limited
Going all out with features from both the SEL's Convenience and Premium packages, the top trim for the Tucson goes all out. A set of dark chrome trimming adorns the exterior of the Limited trim, while you'll have upgraded LED headlights, a heated steering wheel, paddle shifters, driver's seat memory setting, heated rear seats and additional safety aids are added to the mix. Those include a blind-spot camera, lane keeping system and a surround-view camera system.
Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and PHEV Trims
For the Hyundai Hybrid, you'll have three trims: The Blue Hybrid (similar to the base SE setup), the SEL Convenience Hybrid, and the Limited Hybrid. Features and options may be sorted a bit differently, but the naming of the Tucson Hybrid's trim levels will suggest what you can expect.
Meanwhile, the Hyundai Tucson PHEV is offered in only two trims, the SEL and Limited, with the expected generous outfitting of features and options. For both the hybrid and PHEV versions, you'll also have slightly different driving dynamics, as well as easy charging for the Tucson PHEV.
